27 - Modena Play: The adventure!

Hello, children of Broodr,
we are back from Modena Play, the most important board game fair in Italy. It was a tiring, but unforgettable experience. Watching people having fun playing Feralis: Obscure Land makes us happy and repays all the hours of work and nights spent awake.
Our booth rocked, we had a lot of people come to visit us: some already knew Feralis, and others became curious after walking around the booth a bit or watching other people play. We want to thank everyone who stopped even a few moments to say hello, to play or book a game or even just ask something.
After two years of the pandemic, to find everyone at the fair for the first time was like seeing a dream come true, like when you go to visit a place you've always seen in pictures. You finally experience it, it's finally real. There are no words to describe the excitement.
To get you into the mood a bit, we put a couple of photos and videos below, one of which was taken at the end of the fair. Guess which one? Clue: you can tell by the destroyed faces.
We’re happy to share that the smoke tests will go out within the next hours! Only 5% of backers will receive a smoke test, so if you don’t receive one during this process, your survey will go out with the rest of the backers once we’ve confirmed everything is working as expected!

You will receive an invitation email in the next few hours, click on the link you will find inside. If you don't get it within 24 hours, check your spam box or try logging in manually from here: https://feralis-obscure-land.backerkit.com/
It is a platform run by Backerkit that makes you do these things:
- Choose the language of the game
- Add items to the order
- Upgrade the pledge
- Calculate shipping costs based on the estimated weight
Do I have to pay right away?
No, you can just add items, estimate shipping costs, and add your credit card to Backerkit (make sure the card is valid and you have enough funds, or the payment will fail). We will collect the funds after mid-2022, until then you can change your order.
Bonus: What if my card doesn't work with Stripe?
Backerkit uses Stripe to process payments, like Kickstarter. If your card doesn't work for some reason, you can do two things:
1. Ask a friend to lend you yours;
2. Contact us on OUR EMAIL and figure out what to do together (this is not an easy solution, so only contact us in desperate cases).
BackerKit Survey Guide
1) Select your country for shipping and click "Get Started". If you would like to upgrade to a higher pledge tier, locate the link under the "Get Started" button and click that instead. Please note that if you switch pledge levels, add-ons selected on Kickstarter will not be automatically appliedto BackerKit.
2) Please read the question prompts and proceed into the BackerKit "store" (Add-Ons section).
3) Here you can choose which of the 3 available languages you want the game.
4) Once in the store, you’ll see a list of the items included in your Kickstarter pledge to the right of the page. On the left, you’ll see the options for add-ons!
5) Once you've selected all the items you want, click "Next".
6) Enter your shipping address and click "Next".
7) The final screen of BackerKit will show you a summary of your order and ask you to settle your payments. Confirm the provided information is correct, pay for extra add-ons, and click "Place my order".
Well, we're done!
You will receive an email notification confirming that your information has been registered.
Surveys and addresses will be locked closer to fulfillment so you’ll be able to make changes even after submitting your survey until we let you know otherwise! Payment for outstanding balances will be collected at a later date.
When the surveys go out, we ask that you complete it as soon as possible so we can make our orders with the production facility. The longer this step takes the longer we have to wait for the product! We’re looking to get 80% of the surveys filled before production starts so we can ensure we have enough for everyone.

Can I upgrade my pledge through the survey?
Yes! When you get your survey hit the button below "Get Started". This will enable you to up your pledge tier if you've decided you want a different deal!
My payment didn’t go through and I was dropped from the Kickstarter. What do I do?
Don’t panic! You should still receive the BackerKit survey and you’ll be able to pay for your pledge there.

26 - Update on the Pledge Manager + Modena Play

Hello, children of Broodr,
you may have noticed the delay in opening the Pledge Manager and Late Pledge, we are here to explain why.
Both pages are ready to go online, but technical issues beyond our control have slowed things down. We are waiting for answers from Backerkit support, it is just a little longer technical time than expected.
We are very sorry for this slowdown, if it was all in our hands we would have worked even at night to solve it, but sometimes waiting is the only solution.
IMPORTANT: the Late Pledge may already be online, but we are not sure if it will work until Backerkit fixes the problem.
We hope to update you very soon, thank you for your patience.

Pledge Manager Update
We are working quickly to get the pledge manager ready to use. We are still on track to send it to you on May 9 and you will have the rest of May to finalize your pledges.
All add-ons and the base game will be managed in the pledge manager, so if you forgot to add money to your pledge or thought you hadn't added it, you have plenty of time to put it in.

the campaign has come to an end and we have no words to thank you.
It has been an exciting journey and full of surprises. We've had some setbacks, sure, but that's how firsts are: messy and exciting!
This is the first door to open, the true beginning of the adventure, the first step into the world of Feralis, which will become big, we know.

Feralis is officially a reality and we can't wait for it to arrive in your hands. We made it!
We'll get back to work finalizing everything, correcting the rules, fine-tuning the final mechanics, betatesting everything, and completing the game. We’ll keep you updated on a monthly basis via updates.
In our incredible final rush, we unlocked some wonderful things!

What's next
LATE PLEDGES
Late pledges will be open after the campaign ends. This will enable latecomers to still acquire the game, albeit at a higher price.

Pay shipping costs (consult the Shipping Policy section of this campaign to get a current estimate of these costs).
